SYSTEMS ANALYST

Position for a Systems Analyst. Job requires managing networks with multiple operating systems, ie Linux and Windows. Responsibilities are installing, supporting, and maintaining computers and networks. Other responsibilities include planning for and responding to service outages and other problems. Duties may include scripting or light programming, project management for systems-related projects, supervising or training computer operators, and being the consultant for computer problems beyond the knowledge of technical support staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors degree relating to Computer Science, Computer    Engineering, or IT.
- Demonstrate a blend of technical skills and responsibility.
- Administrator level experience using Linux and Windows, bonus    points for experience with using MacOSX.
- Maintain and diagnose network infrastructure such as switches and    routers.
- Familiar in computer and network security, including the    administration of security devices such as firewalls.
- Respond to individual users' difficulties with computer systems,    provide instructions and sometimes training.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep, such as changing    backup tapes.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
