WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Position for a web and graphic designer. Job will require creating and using existing company brands. Designing or updating a company website. Promote consistency in the company's use of design elements. Create and maintain style guide. Produce marketing materials, advertisements, flyers, posters, brochures, samplers and other promotional pieces.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3 years minimum work experience in web design
- Experience in graphic art production for web and print
- Experience building web graphics and banners
- A well-developed aesthetic sense for web site navigation and layout
- Knowledge of browser compatibility issues using JavaScript and    CSS
- A willingness to refactor existing HTML to keep it maintainable
- Knowledge of web production process (code management, testing)
- Comfortable working in an open source/linux environment
- Familiar with source code control software such as CVS
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat and HTML    a must
- Bonus points for experience working on a server-side templating    system: ie. PHP, JSP or ASP
